Philadelphia area Indigenous People gather at City Council Chambers to support Resolution 110641 Proclaiming October 8th Indigenous Peoples Day.

The City of Philadelphia passed Resolution 110641 on Thursday which makes October 8, 2011, Indigenous Peoples Day in the City of Philadelphia. The day will be observed each year on the first Saturday of October.
